From the moment she arrived, this mama embodied the energy we love to see in the studio. She came prepared with one thoughtfully chosen outfit for family photos and realistic expectations about her toddler—because if you’ve ever done photos with a toddler, you already know: flexibility is everything. She borrowed 2 intimate looks from the client closet, and the rest was history.

She trusted the process, stayed present, and let us lead while embracing whatever her son needed in the moment. That openness is what allowed us to create a gallery that feels relaxed, connected, and full of real emotion.

Once we had those family shots secured, we transitioned into a slower, quieter portion of the session. Her son and dog headed out for a walk, giving us space to focus solely on her.

And then—one of those unplanned moments we’ll always be grateful for. Her dog joined in on some of her solo shots and literally stole the show!

That image ended up being one of my favorites from the entire session. It was natural, emotional, and so her. Moments like that are a reminder that the best photos aren’t always planned—they’re felt.
