Hi, I'm Yaya.
Newborn, Maternity, Family, and Personal Branding PhotographerMama to Duke and Emma, wife to my best friend, Danny, and the heart behind the camera.
After nearly a decade of teaching, I took a leap in 2020 to chase my passion for photography and I haven’t looked back.
As a mom of littles, I know how quickly life changes and how important it is to freeze the fleeting moments. The chaos, the cuddles, the quiet magic. That’s why I’m here: to capture the real, raw, and beautifully candid moments that make your story uniquely yours.
Let's make magic!
memories are my jam!
Whether I'm capturing yours, or making some of my own, memories are what I live for!! If I don't have my camera on hand, I definitely have a baby on my hip. With 2 babies, 2 and under, my heart and hands have never been more full. My little family is my everything, my reason for working so hard, and at the same time, my reason for slowing down. We love to cook, go to the beach, have adventures, and mostly, just be with each other! I always say I am the happiest when we are together. I don't have a favorite movie, a favorite musician, or a favorite color LOL. I am like a little chameleon, and I am always changing and evolving. Today I may like yellow, and tomorrow it might be green. I listen to every type of music, it just depends on my mood, possibly my outfit, and who is sitting in my car or studio. I love to travel, eat at delicious restaurants, and watch the sun rise (before I had babies of course)! I love working out but haven't been able to get a consistent routine again since having my second baby, but once I do, you can find me doing anything from yoga, to pilates, to boxing, and weight training. I have had Crohn's disease for over 15 years, and although it is a terrible and unfortunate part of my life, I owe my healthy habits, my faith, and my positive mindset to it. From my own little family to my big crazy Cuban family, I have always been a family girl. I'm obsessed with my 2 sisters, am the middle child, and a big time daddy's girl, moms never get enough credit! Thank you for getting to know me, and thank you for allowing me to capture some of your favorite biggest and smallest moments. My heart is full of love and gratitude for you all.
Hope to see you soon!
