Coral Gables never loses its magic
There are some locations that just never lose their magic—and Country Club Prado in Coral Gables is one of them. No matter how many times I photograph here, it always feels like stepping into something soft, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful.
This recent maternity session was the perfect reminder of why I love it so much. From the quiet fountains to the blooming bursts of color tucked into every corner, everything came together in the most natural way. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we found the most stunning soft pink flowering tree—it truly felt like something out of a dream.
Why Coral Gables Is One of the Best Photoshoot Locations in Miami
There’s something about Coral Gables that feels different from the rest of Miami. It’s quieter, more romantic, and full of hidden beauty.
From the iconic fountains to the tree-lined streets covered in blooms, every corner offers a new backdrop. You don’t have to force anything here—it naturally creates soft, elegant imagery.
During this session, we wandered through some of my favorite hidden spots and found:
- Beautiful stone fountains tucked away in lush greenery
- Bright blooming plants in rich pinks and purples
- Soft, filtered light that wraps around you perfectly
- And that breathtaking soft pink flowering tree that completely stole the moment
It’s locations like this that remind me why I love outdoor photography so much—everything feels organic, timeless, and effortlessly beautiful.
Whens the best time for photos in Coral Gables
Coral Gables is beautiful year-round, but if you’re dreaming of that lush, blooming, romantic look, timing truly makes all the difference.
In South Florida, the most vibrant season for outdoor sessions falls between October and April, when the weather is cooler, the air feels lighter, and the natural colors are at their best. During these months, the greenery is fuller, the light feels softer, and the blooms throughout Coral Gables are far more consistent.
If you’re hoping for those bright pops of pinks and purples you often see in photos, you’ll love this time of year. Many of the plants, especially bougainvillea, thrive in these cooler, drier months—creating that rich, colorful backdrop that makes sessions here feel so dreamy.
While summer in Miami still has its beauty, it does come with intense heat, humidity, and frequent rain, which can make outdoor sessions a bit more challenging and less predictable.
Because of that, I always recommend planning your Coral Gables session during the cooler months if you want the most comfortable experience and the most vibrant, timeless images.
A place i'll always come back to
There are so many beautiful places to photograph in Miami, but Coral Gables will always be one I come back to. It has a way of slowing everything down—of letting moments unfold naturally, without needing too much direction or effort.
Every time I shoot here, it feels a little different. The light shifts, the blooms change, and somehow there’s always something new to notice. But what stays the same is how it makes people feel—calm, connected, and completely present in the moment.
And maybe that’s what makes it so special. Not just how it looks, but how it holds space for the season you’re in—quietly, beautifully, and without trying too hard.
