Studio and field session with the cutest twin girlies
Some families just stick with you—and this one has had my heart since our very first session a few years ago. Back then, we met at sunrise with their twin toddlers (brave, I know!), and even though those early mornings can be tricky, the session was filled with light, love, and a whole lot of toddler energy. Fast forward a couple of years and those tiny babes are now four, full of personality, giggles, and excitement about their big girl photoshoot—and cuter than ever!
For this session, we went all out with a two-look family photography session in Miami. First up: the studio. We kept it clean, classic, and bright white. Studio family photos are always a good idea—especially in the Miami heat. No sweating, no frizz, and no overheated dads ready to tap out. Just a calm, controlled space where everyone can relax and shine. These portraits are timeless, frame-worthy, and perfect for updating those walls at home.
But Mama had a vision—something dreamy, effortless, and filled with natural beauty. So for the second look, we headed to one of my favorite nearby fields to capture that boho-inspired look, but with no props. Just vibes and outfits. And let me tell you—it was MAGIC.
The sun was golden. The breeze was soft. The girls were twirling. And I brought along our new film lens, which I’ve been experimenting with lately. When I say I’m obsessed… I mean OBSESSED. The soft focus, the nostalgic tones, the sun flares that danced through every frame—it gave this session an entirely different energy. More mood, more movement, more memory.
This shoot was a perfect reminder that if you’re dreaming of a specific aesthetic, outfits matter more than anything. The family’s choices here were spot on—earthy tones, relaxed textures, coordinated but not matchy. They let the environment and connection take center stage, and the photos speak for themselves.
If you’re dreaming of a family session that feels intentional, artistic, and true to your story—whether in-studio, on-location, or a little bit of both—I’d love to help bring that vision to life.
