Two Beautiful Ways to Remember This Season
One of the most common questions I get from my newborn mamas is:
“Yaya… what’s the difference between the Adore and the Love collection?”
And I completely understand why you ask. These first days with your baby are sacred. They are soft, emotional, and gone before you even realize it. Choosing how you want them documented matters. So let me walk you through it in a simple way. Both collections are 2–3 hour newborn sessions. Both can be done in-home or in studio. Both are slow, baby-led, and filled with intention.
The Adore collection
The Adore Collection is my most complete newborn experience.
This session is done in home or studio and includes both lifestyle moments and beautifully styled newborn portraits with props.
When you walk into the studio, everything is ready for you. Soft wraps. Neutral textures. Delicate layers. Thoughtfully chosen pieces that photograph timelessly and keep the focus exactly where it belongs — on your baby.
We’ll capture:
- Family snuggles
- Parent portraits
- Sibling moments
- And gently posed newborn portraits using curated props
It’s a blend of connection and artistry.
You are always welcome to include meaningful items like:
- Hospital outfits
- Birth announcement signs
- A special stuffed animal
- Heirloom blankets
The biggest difference?
With Adore, you receive all of the best edited images from your session. You don’t have to narrow it down. You don’t have to choose between favorites. You get the full story.
This collection is perfect if you:
- Love the look of styled newborn portraits
- Want variety in your gallery
- Don’t want to limit your images
- Want a fully prepared studio experience
Want more photos but not the props? No problem! We often have parents who choose The Adore Collection for ALL BEST IMAGES and not necessarily the props. Either way, we make it happen!
The love collection
The Love Collection is more natural and connection-focused.
This session can take place in your home or in studio, but it is lifestyle only — meaning no styled newborn props.
When we shoot in your home, we usually incorporate the nursery — the space you poured so much love and time into. There is something incredibly special about documenting your baby in the room you prepared while waiting for them.
We focus on:
- Snuggles on the bed
- Rocking in the nursery
- Big siblings loving on baby
- Quiet, in-between moments
With Love, you receive a 30-image digital gallery, with the option to purchase more if you fall in love with extras.
This collection is perfect if you:
- Want a natural, documentary feel
- Love the idea of capturing your home and nursery
- Prefer a simplified session
- Feel comfortable choosing your favorite images
In home or studio?
Both collections can be done in-home or in studio. When we photograph your session at home, it feels intimate and deeply personal. We get to capture the nursery you carefully prepared, the rocking chair where you’ll spend late nights, the tiny details that already hold so much meaning. There’s something incredibly special about documenting your baby in the space where your story is unfolding right now.
In-studio has its own kind of magic. It feels clean, soft, and timeless. The lighting is beautiful and consistent, everything is thoughtfully prepared, and you get to simply walk in, breathe, and let me take care of the rest. It creates images that feel classic and distraction-free — all the focus on your baby and your connection.
There truly is no wrong choice.
It just comes down to what feels most like you in this season.
My heart behind it all
No matter which collection you choose, my heart behind it is always the same. I never rush your baby. I follow their pace, their needs, their tiny cues. We pause for feeding, for snuggles, for whatever this little season requires. I create space for connection, not stiff posing, not pressure, just real moments. The way your baby melts into your chest. The way your toddler proudly leans in a little too close. The way you instinctively close your eyes and breathe them in. I notice the little things. The way their lips pout when they fall asleep. The way you look at them like you can’t believe they’re finally here. It passes in the blink of an eye. And years from now, when your baby isn’t so tiny anymore, I want you to look back at these images and feel it all over again — the warmth, the love, the overwhelming joy of those first days. If you’re unsure which collection fits your vision, I’ll help you. I truly will. I care deeply about making sure this experience feels right for you and your family.
Let's make some magic!
